Here is what it gives the memory keeper today. - Record a spoken story with no preparation: the teller talks out loud with Glow and nothing needs to be written down or read aloud first. - Set the scope before you begin: one question, three questions, ten minutes, or open-ended - you choose the length and mark any topics off-limits in your own words. - Save each answer automatically: every response is preserved the moment it ends, so a long story never needs to be repeated if the session stops. - Hear one follow-up that stays close to what was just said: Glow asks about a detail the teller actually mentioned - a street name, a year, a person - never a guess. - Correct the transcript by hand: each recording comes with a transcript you can edit; Glow never overwrites a correction you make. - Return to what is still untold: Glow notes empty chapters from the archive - "Army years: 12 photos, no story yet" - and turns them into the next session's questions. ## How a sitting works, start to finish Five steps cover the whole sequence. You begin alone, in the app, and you can hand the phone to the teller when they are ready. - Choose who is telling, what the sitting covers, and how long it runs. Mark anything off-limits - war, health, money, or anything you name yourself - and set a gentle pace. - The teller talks out loud with Glow. StoryWorth sends weekly written prompts and asks the teller to type a response. Talk with Glow is a spoken conversation - the teller never needs to read or write anything. For a parent who finds typing hard, or who tells a much richer story out loud than on paper, that difference is the whole thing. ### How long does it take to set up, and what do I need to do first? Open the app, choose the teller's name and language, set any off-limits topics, and pick a length - one question or ten minutes. That is the setup. The teller can start talking straight away. ### What if the recording is quiet or the story comes out jumbled? Is that still worth keeping? Yes. A quiet recording of your father describing his first job still carries his voice, his words, and details no one else holds. Every answer is saved with a transcript you can correct by hand. Glow never overwrites a correction, and it never judges what the teller says. ### My mother's memory isn't what it was. Can she still do a sitting?
