> Every memory a grandparent records opens a new drawn place on a map your kids can explore, told in the grandparent's real voice.

Some stories only get told once. Grandpa's map gives the children a reason to listen. Every memory a grandparent records opens a new drawn place on a map, and the kids explore it by playing, hearing the story in the grandparent's real voice.

## How it works

- **A memory is recorded.** A grandparent tells a memory, and Glow keeps the recording.

- **A new place opens.** Each recorded memory opens a new drawn place on the map.

- **The kids play.** Children explore the map and hear each story told in the grandparent's real voice.

## Their voice, not a copy of it

The voice in the game is the real recording. Nothing is generated in the grandparent's voice, and no one is imitated. Need memories to play with? [Living Room Stories](/features/living-room-stories) helps you record a real conversation with a parent or grandparent.

## A game for the whole family

It is a game for children, made from a grandparent's own stories. Glow is private by default, so nothing is public unless you choose to share it. See also [Glow for the family that plays together](/for/the-family-that-plays-together).
