About
For fifteen years I have worked in advanced technology. Almost always, I built it for early adopters: people who love every new tool and master it on day one.
My parents and my family were never those people. Each new wave of technology arrived, and they struggled with it. I saw that the best technology we have is often built for the people who need it least.
Glow is my love project. It brings the most advanced technology to families, in a way that helps them. I want Glow to be a place where feelings move across generations, and where a family stays close to its own history. A person who does not know where they come from does not know where they are going.
Nothing is invented
Every name, caption and year comes from your family. Glow suggests faces it has learned from names you confirmed, and never names someone on its own guess.
We'll never fake their voice
Glow keeps real recordings, with consent and under the family's control. It never generates anyone's voice.
Private by default
Your family space is private. Relatives join by invitation, and you choose what to share outside it, if anything.
The whole family adds
Invite family as admins or members, or send a guest link so a relative with no account can add a story to a photo.
Practical guides
Warm, step-by-step help for saving the little years, recording a parent's life story and scanning a shoebox of prints.
Questions worth asking
Questions to ask your parents and grandparents while they can still tell you the story.
Help after a death
Careful guides to a person's photos and accounts, checked against each provider's own documentation.
A monthly letter
Once a month: a practical guide, a question to ask someone you love and a quiet note about remembering.
